The Topstep risk management team has been working overtime to address all of the feedback we receive from our customers and community members, and we’re ready to announce another fantastic update – we’re adding 12 additional derivatives to our list of Permitted Products, including Micro Crude Oil, Micro Bitcoin, and Micro Gold contracts!
Many of you might be curious why we haven’t been offering these products all along, and the answer is simple – we want to provide the safest experience possible for our partners and traders. This means thoroughly vetting each product we offer to ensure liquidity standards so you, as the trader, can confidently enter and exit the market without fear of significant slippage.

This is a quick reminder that when you get to the Funded Level, Topstep allows you to simultaneously trade three active Express Funded Accounts (XFA). So, do be shy about opening yourself up to adding new markets to your trading and risk management plan. One of these new products might be just what you’ve been looking for!
A quick note on Micro contracts…
Each Micro futures contract equals a full contract toward your max position size in the Trading Combine and the Funded Account. For example, if you are trading in a 50K Trading Combine, your max position size is 5 contracts, so 5 Micro contracts will max you out.
