Latoya Smith worked in finance for a time before pursuing her passion for trading. She is now the co-founder of The Profit Room, a stock market and trading educational company. On this week’s edition of the Limit Up! Podcast, Jack and Dan talked to Latoya about her road to becoming a day trader.

Who is Latoya Smith?

Latoya Smith is the co-founder of The Profit Room, a stock market education and trading company. The Profit Room provides mentorship and hands-on live training in the stocks, forex, and futures market, as a way for others to achieve generational wealth.

The Profit Room is well known for its gap strategy and live trading videos in the futures market. In 2006 Latoya was introduced into the stock market by forming an investment club with friends. Latoya believes in wealth building through the means of the stock market.

She worked for 5 years in corporate America in the investment banking industry, learning the processes, structure, and various instruments/investments. In 2012 Latoya decided to leave her investment banking career and pursue her passion, trading the markets for a living. She is well known for her charting techniques and pattern recognition, enabling her to profit in all markets. With over 13 years of investing and trading experience, Latoya’s goal is to help more people achieve financial freedom the same way she did.
