The spots, ‘Climb Higher’ and ‘See Opportunity’, are now airing on NBC, Peacock, and other digital platforms. The campaign draws a clear parallel between elite athletics and trading success: talent helps, but consistency and preparation are what actually move you forward.

How trading progress is built, not given

For Topstep Founder and CEO Michael Patak, the message behind the campaign reflects the company’s core belief.

“As an athlete and as a trader, Alex embodies what we teach at Topstep. He’s living proof that preparation and consistency matter more than talent alone. The same focus that makes him a world-class athlete helps make him a successful trader,” said Patak. “That’s the message we want both experienced and aspiring traders to hear: if they’re willing to put in the reps and commit to the process, they can progress in their trading journey, no matter their starting point.”

Enhanced onboarding

New visual guides and simulated modules help traders learn core concepts, like reading charts and executing buy/sell decisions, before progressing toward funding.

Training Camp

Exclusive to Topstep, Training Camp is a new interactive learning series in Topstep’s Learn. Trade. Earn. philosophy with short, tailored lessons on trading fundamentals and futures markets, it’s designed to help traders build confidence before entering the Trading Combine®.

Topstep’s custom journey experience gives traders greater flexibility in how they get funded and how they take payouts, meeting traders where they are, not forcing them into a single path.

Live trader experience

A founder-led mission, reimagined for traders

Alongside these updates, Topstep is also introducing a refreshed visual identity, including a new logo, color palette, and typography. The updated look spans the entire enterprise from Topstep (Prop) and TopstepX to TopstepTV, reflecting growth while staying grounded in trader-first principles.

Those principles trace back to Patak’s own trading journey. Early in his career, he lost nearly six figures in the markets. The experience taught him a lasting lesson: long-term success isn’t driven by raw talent alone, but by discipline, consistency, and structure applied over time. That belief inspired the name Topstep and continues to define the company’s mission.

Ferreira has lived that same philosophy.
