On the heels of the biggest month for withdrawals in Topstep history, funded traders picked up the pace even faster and closed out the first quarter of 2021 with $1,263,872 in withdrawals from their Funded Accounts®.So, here’s a big shout out to all of the Topstep funded traders who took withdrawals from their Funded Accounts®, outstanding work!
Last month we talked about all of the records that Topstep traders broke in February of this year. We seriously underestimated just how hungry traders in the Trading Combine® are to get into a Funded Account. Not only did they break February’s record for the number of accounts funded (1,178 in March), but we also broke the record for the number of traders to pass through Step 1 of the Trading Combine (1,250 in March).
Each month we like to recognize a few traders who exemplify what it means to be a Topstep trader. Their dedication to constant improvement is truly inspirational, and we’re grateful that they were willing to take time out of their day to sit down with us and tell their stories.
Meet Ed H., who started his first Trading Combine® back in July of 2020 and has since moved through the Pro Account and into a Funded Account. Ed’s approach to the markets is simple; he “only hunts one rabbit,” meaning he only trades one market exclusively. The market Ed has chosen to spend his time mastering is the E-Mini Nasdaq-100 futures (NQ), and so far, it has been working out well for him.
Cindy, from Texas, is a former Topstep funded trader turned professional Crude Oil trader. She also holds down a full-time job in the Oil and Gas industry. Working on the drilling business’s exploration side, Cindy has a great pulse on the future of oil supply in the U.S.
This is where we highlight all of the traders that took their first $5,000 in withdrawals. The list has grown so big month-over-month that we can no longer fit the whole thing in the Monthly Highlights email, so we have added it to the Trader Success Stories page on our website. Keep working hard, and one day you’ll find your name on this list too!
